Qatar Airways Holidays

Qatar Airways is listed as a partner brand on the Defence Discount Service, which covers packages booked through Qatar Airways Holidays, but the exact saving is not published as a fixed percentage on the open market. You only see the figure once you have verified your status.

The good news is that you do not need to wait for a code to land in your inbox to save money on a trip to Doha, the Far East or beyond. The latest Qatar Airways Holidays offers and deals are listed on this page and updated regularly, so you can start comparing flight and hotel packages right now, whether or not you decide to verify for the forces discount as well.

Does Qatar Airways Holidays offer a military discount?

Qatar Airways, the airline behind Qatar Airways Holidays packages, appears as a travel partner on the Defence Discount Service's holiday discounts page, sitting alongside other travel brands on the site.
Save at Qatar Airways is listed among the holiday discounts available to the Armed Forces community.
The eligibility rules published on that page are broad:
Defence Discount Service eligibility extends to Bereaved Family Members, Cadet Forces aged 16 and over, and HM Armed Forces Veterans
, alongside serving Regulars and Reserves.

What is not published publicly is the precise percentage saved, which routes or fare types it applies to, or whether it covers package holidays as well as standalone flights. That detail is only shown once you have registered and verified your status, which is normal for this kind of scheme. Separately, Blue Light Card also runs a page dedicated to Qatar Airways, describing a partnership aimed at its own membership base rather than the wider Defence Discount Service community. Neither scheme is something we can link to directly, and neither replaces the value of checking the live offers listed on this page before you book.

How to claim the Qatar Airways Holidays military discount

1. Start by checking the live Qatar Airways Holidays offers listed on this page, since seasonal sales often beat a fixed percentage discount on their own.
2. Register for a free Defence Discount Service account if you have not already, using your service or veteran details to verify your eligibility.
3. Search the holiday and travel section of the Defence Discount Service site for the current Qatar Airways listing.
4. Follow the link through to the official Qatar Airways Holidays booking pages to see the saving applied, or the code you need to enter at checkout.
5. Compare that fare against the package prices shown on this page before you confirm your booking, so you know you are getting the better deal.
6. Keep a copy of your confirmation and verification in case the airline's customer service team asks for proof of eligibility later.

Who is eligible

Defence Discount Service membership, which underpins the Qatar Airways Holidays military discount, is built for a wide section of the forces community.
The Defence Discount Service is the official Armed Forces discount service, providing discounts to Regulars and Reserves, spouses and partners of those currently serving, veterans and others in the Defence Community.
The holidays page itself specifically calls out bereaved family members, cadet forces aged 16 and over, and veterans, so this is not limited to those still in uniform. If you are not registered with Defence Discount Service, you are still welcome to use every offer listed on this page, since those deals are open to the whole forces community without separate verification.

Other ways to save at Qatar Airways Holidays

Start with the Qatar Airways Holidays offers listed on this page, since they are checked and refreshed regularly and do not require any sign-up or verification. Beyond that, Qatar Airways Holidays runs its own rolling programme of promotions. At the time of writing, the brand is advertising savings across its package range, with
Qatar Airways Holidays packages discounted by up to 30%, with a choice of over 200,000 hotels and 10,000 activities for the perfect getaway.
Seasonal campaigns such as winter sun escapes and school holiday deals tend to appear through the same sale structure.

Loyalty members get extra value too.
With every flight and hotel package booked with Qatar Airways Holidays, Privilege Club members can earn Avios, which can be used towards award flights, extra baggage, upgrades and more.
Higher-tier packages add further perks:
Privilege Club members enjoy complimentary room upgrades, early check-in, late check-out, and more
on selected Signature Collection stays. If you are flexible on dates, booking well ahead of a stopover in Doha or a long-haul package can unlock the biggest early-bird savings, and signing up to email alerts is a simple way to hear about flash sales before they sell out.

About Qatar Airways Holidays

Qatar Airways Holidays is the tour operator arm of Qatar Airways,
the flag carrier of Qatar, which was established by the government of Qatar in 1993 and has been 100% state-owned since 2013.
It builds tailor-made flight and hotel packages, stopover breaks in Doha, and holidays to long-haul destinations across Asia, Africa and Australia, all flown on Qatar Airways' own network. Forces families use it because a single booking combines flights, accommodation and transfers, which can simplify planning around unpredictable leave dates and postings.

Qatar Airways Holidays military discount FAQs

Is there a Qatar Airways Holidays veterans discount?

Veterans are specifically named as eligible on the Defence Discount Service holidays page where Qatar Airways is listed. The exact saving is shown once you verify your status, so treat this as a genuine but unpublished discount rather than a fixed advertised rate.

Can I use a Blue Light Card or Defence Discount Service at Qatar Airways Holidays?

Defence Discount Service is the scheme that lists Qatar Airways as a partner brand for holiday discounts. Blue Light Card separately runs its own dedicated page for Qatar Airways, aimed at its own membership. Both are verification schemes rather than places to find a published percentage, so always confirm the current terms before you book.

Does the Qatar Airways Holidays military discount cover packages as well as flights?

This is not made clear publicly. The Defence Discount Service listing sits under its holiday discounts section, which suggests packages are covered, but the precise scope only becomes clear once you have registered and reached the booking stage.

Can I stack a forces discount with a Qatar Airways Holidays sale or promo code?

Most airline and holiday sales exclude stacking with other codes or discount schemes, and nothing published confirms that the Defence Discount Service saving can be combined with seasonal promotions. Compare both routes before booking and use whichever gives the lower total price, including the offers listed on this page.

Who is not covered by the Qatar Airways Holidays military discount?

Nothing in the published eligibility list excludes reservists, cadets over 16, veterans or bereaved family members, but MOD civil servants are not specifically mentioned, so it is worth checking your own eligibility on registration rather than assuming.

Do I need a code to get the Qatar Airways Holidays military discount?

Based on how Defence Discount Service listings typically work, you are more likely to be redirected through a verified link than given a standalone code to type in manually, though this can vary by offer.

Where can I find the best Qatar Airways Holidays deals right now?

The offers listed on this page are checked and updated regularly, covering package sales, stopover deals and seasonal campaigns, so they are the fastest way to compare prices without needing to register anywhere first.
