Looking for an EE Tech and Gaming military discount? Start with the offers at the top of this page. We list every current EE Tech & Gaming deal there, from consoles and gaming PCs to headphones and TVs, and update the list as EE changes its prices, so what you see is what's live today.
The offers are open to the whole forces community: serving personnel, veterans, reservists and military families. Below is how the store works, who can buy, and how to get more for your money whether you're kitting out a games room at home or something to take on a posting.
EE Tech & Gaming is the online tech shop run by EE, the mobile and broadband provider. It goes well beyond phones. You'll find PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo consoles, gaming PCs and laptops, controllers and headsets, earbuds and speakers, TVs, tablets, smartwatches and smart home kit.
A lot of the range comes as bundles. A console might come with an extra controller, a headset, a game or an EE GameCard, which is a gift card you can spend on games across the big platforms. Bundles are often where the best value is, as long as you actually want everything in the box.
EE's forces discount is on its mobile plans, so it takes money off your monthly airtime rather than off a console or a pair of headphones. Our EE military discount page explains how that works and who qualifies.
On the tech and gaming side, the savings come from EE's own promotions: price drops, bundle deals, discount codes on selected ranges and sale events. Those change all the time, which is why we don't quote a figure here. The offers at the top of this page are the current ones, and they're kept up to date.
Anyone can buy from the store, and you don't need to be an EE customer. That includes regular serving personnel in the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Army and RAF, reservists, veterans and service leavers, and spouses, partners and older children shopping for the family.
Being an EE customer does unlock a few extras. Some prices only show once you log in, and EE pay monthly customers can usually add tech to their plan and pay for it monthly on the same bill. That's subject to EE's eligibility and credit checks, so it isn't guaranteed. If you're not with EE, you pay for the item upfront in the normal way.
The simplest saving is timing. EE runs regular promotions, and the big sale periods of the year usually bring the sharpest prices on consoles and accessories. If a birthday or Christmas is coming and you can wait, keep an eye on the offers here.
Next, compare the bundle against buying the console on its own. A bundle with a GameCard or an extra controller can work out cheaper than buying those separately, but only if you'd have bought them anyway. If not, the plain console deal may be the better buy.
If you're already with EE, log in before you buy. Some deals are member prices that you only see once you're signed in, and it takes a few seconds to check.
Gaming has always been big in the forces, whether it's the block on a Friday night or keeping in touch with mates spread across different postings. Online multiplayer lets friends play together from anywhere with a decent connection, and plenty of families use it to stay close when one parent is away.
Think about where the kit is going before you buy. A handheld console or a gaming laptop packs away easily for a course or a deployment, if it's allowed where you're going. A desktop PC or a big TV makes more sense for a settled home. If you move house a lot, keep the original boxes, because they're the safest way to move fragile tech.
If you're an Xbox household, the Microsoft military discount page covers Microsoft's own forces savings. And if you're after a new TV or tablet to go with it, the Samsung military discount is worth checking first.
For console bundles and gaming accessories, it's well worth a look. EE puts together bundles you won't always find elsewhere, and its promotions on popular kit can be strong. The option to spread the cost on your plan also helps if you'd rather not pay for a console all at once.
The thing to watch is the total cost. Spreading a payment over months is handy, but add up what you'll pay in the end and check how long you're tied in, especially if a posting abroad might change your phone plans. For more choice on laptops, TVs and home tech, our electrical deals for the armed forces bring the other retailers together in one place.
EE's forces discount applies to its mobile plans, not to tech store products. On consoles, gaming kit and other tech, the savings come from EE's own promotions, and the current ones are listed on this page and updated regularly for the armed forces community.
No. Anyone can buy from the store and pay upfront. EE customers may see extra member prices when logged in, and eligible pay monthly customers can usually add tech to their plan.
Yes. The offers on this page are open to serving personnel, veterans, reservists, service leavers and their families. Just check each offer's own terms, such as whether you need to log in or use a code.
If you're an EE pay monthly customer, you can usually add a console or other tech to your plan and pay for it on your bill. It's subject to EE's eligibility and credit checks. If you're not with EE, you'll pay for it upfront.
An EE GameCard is a gift card from EE that you can spend on games across the major platforms. It often comes as part of a console bundle, so check whether the bundle you're looking at includes one.
Orders are normally delivered to UK addresses. If you're based abroad, the easiest option is to have it sent to family or a UK address you'll be visiting, and check the delivery options at checkout before you order.
Have a look at the EE Tech & Gaming offers at the top of this page before you buy. A quick check could save you a fair bit on your next console or gadget.
If you're sorting out your phone at the same time, our EE Mobile Phones page covers EE's forces discount on airtime, and the Sky Mobile deals are worth comparing too. For a new laptop or desktop, have a look at the Dell military discount, and the rest of the tech deals we list are in our electrical section.
