Motoin

Motoin does not currently run a dedicated UK military discount, forces discount or veterans discount, whether direct, through Defence Discount Service or via Blue Light Card. There's no fixed percentage set aside at checkout for serving personnel, reservists or veterans.

That's not the end of the story, though. The latest Motoin offers and deals are listed on this page and updated regularly, so you can still make real savings on helmets, riding gear and motorcycle parts without needing a military-specific code.

Does Motoin offer a military discount?

No. Checks of the Motoin website, Defence Discount Service and Blue Light Card turned up no evidence of a Motoin military discount scheme for UK forces personnel, veterans or their families.
Motoin does not have any specific student or military discounts available, though general promo codes and seasonal sales can provide similar discounts.
Blue Light Card's motoring category lists partners such as fuel, insurance, servicing and MOT providers, but Motoin does not currently appear among them.

This isn't unusual for a German specialist retailer trading into the UK. Plenty of home-grown motorcycle shops run armed forces schemes, but Motoin has focused instead on storewide sales events, clearance stock and a returns policy that gives you room to change your mind. If that changes, this page will be updated to reflect it.

How to get the best price at Motoin

1. Check the live Motoin offers listed on this page first, since these are checked and updated regularly.
2. Look at the warehouse clearance section, where reductions on helmets, apparel and accessories can be substantial at the time of writing.
3. Sign up to the Motoin newsletter for early access to sales and any welcome offers for new subscribers.
4. Check the free delivery threshold and any minimum order value that applies to UK orders before you check out, as these can change.
5. Keep your order confirmation and know the returns window in case the fit or finish isn't right once the gear arrives.

Who is eligible

Because Motoin doesn't run a military-specific scheme, there's no eligibility list to navigate. The offers listed on this page are open to everyone in the forces community, including serving Regulars, Reservists, veterans, cadet force adult volunteers, MOD civil servants and forces spouses and partners, so nobody needs to prove service history to use them.

Other ways to save at Motoin

Start with the Motoin offers and deals listed on this page, since these are the ones checked and refreshed for accuracy. Beyond that, there are a few genuine ways to bring the price down:

• Warehouse clearance:
Motoin runs a UK warehouse clearance saving up to 74% on helmets, apparel and accessories
at the time of writing, though stock varies and popular sizes sell out fast.
• Seasonal sales: expect markdowns around Black Friday, Boxing Day and end-of-season clearouts on last year's jackets and boots, alongside regular storewide promotions.
• Newsletter sign-up: subscribing to the Motoin newsletter can bring early access to sales and occasional welcome offers for new customers.
• Free delivery thresholds: Motoin applies minimum order and delivery charge rules that vary by destination, so check the exact threshold shown at checkout for UK orders before you commit.
• Returns policy:
Motoin has a 100 days return policy
, which gives you a decent window to try gear on and send it back if the size or fit is wrong.

About Motoin

Motoin is an online motorcycle gear, accessories and spare parts retailer, established in 2007, stocking everything from helmets, jackets, gloves and boots to Alpinestars, Dainese and Schuberth.
The catalogue runs into hundreds of thousands of lines, covering performance and maintenance parts for a wide range of motorcycle makes and models. Forces riders use Motoin for the range and the brand names as much as the price, particularly when a local dealer doesn't stock a specific size or model.

Motoin military discount FAQs

Is there a Motoin veterans discount?

No. There is no separate veterans rate at Motoin. Veterans are treated the same as any other customer, which means the best route to a lower price is the warehouse clearance and sale sections rather than a dedicated discount.

Can I use a Blue Light Card or Defence Discount Service at Motoin?

Not currently. Motoin does not appear as a partner on either Blue Light Card's motoring offers or Defence Discount Service, so there's no code to apply through either scheme at checkout.

Can I stack a Motoin discount code with sale prices?

Warehouse clearance and outlet prices are already reduced, so most Motoin discount codes won't apply on top of these. Check the terms shown at checkout, since some newsletter or seasonal codes exclude sale stock entirely.

Does Motoin offer free UK delivery?

Delivery charges and any free-delivery threshold depend on your order value and destination. It's worth checking the delivery information at checkout before you buy, since minimum order requirements for UK shipments have applied in the past.

How long do I have to return an order to Motoin?

Motoin have a 100 days return policy
, giving you longer than many retailers to decide whether a helmet, jacket or set of gloves is right before sending it back.

Will Motoin add a military discount in future?

There's no indication of one in the pipeline at the time of writing. If Motoin launches a forces scheme through Defence Discount Service, Blue Light Card or its own website, this page will be updated to reflect it.
