OnBuy.com

OnBuy does not currently run a dedicated OnBuy.com military discount for serving personnel, veterans or forces families. There is no percentage code, no Blue Light Card listing and no Defence Discount Service partnership confirmed at the time of writing. Savings on OnBuy come instead from its cashback system, seller-led promotions and free delivery, all of which any shopper can use.

The good news is that the latest OnBuy offers and deals are listed on this page and updated regularly, so you can still save on your next order without waiting for a forces-specific scheme that doesn't exist. Whether you're kitting out a new posting or shopping for the family while a partner is away, start with the offers below before you pay full price anywhere else.

Does OnBuy.com offer a military discount?

No. Independent research into OnBuy's discount policy is clear on this point:
OnBuy do not provide student or military discounts across the board, and any discounts available are down to the individual seller's own offers.
OnBuy is a marketplace made up of thousands of independent sellers rather than a single retailer, and each seller sets their own pricing, promotions and returns terms, so a blanket forces discount isn't something the platform offers centrally.

We also checked whether OnBuy appears as a partner brand through the two main UK verification schemes used by other retailers, Blue Light Card and Defence Discount Service. We found no confirmed listing for OnBuy on either scheme at the time of writing. If that changes, this page will be updated, but for now serving personnel, reservists and veterans should not expect ID verification through either scheme to unlock a checkout code at OnBuy.

How to get the best price at OnBuy.com

1. Check the live OnBuy offers listed on this page before you check out, since these are the genuine, currently available ways to save.
2. Look for the "Top-rated Seller" badge on listings, as these sellers more often bundle in free shipping or better terms than unrated sellers.
3. Compare a few sellers on the same product page. Because multiple sellers list the same item on OnBuy, prices for identical products can vary noticeably.
4. Sign up for OnBuy's cashback account.
OnBuy is the only marketplace that pays you as you shop, and you can spend your cashback straight away, save it, or withdraw it.
5. Watch for VIP-tier cashback.
Just one purchase unlocks VIP status, which brings bigger rates and bigger deals.
6. Filter for free delivery items if you want to avoid extra shipping costs, since
free delivery is available across millions of products alongside instantly redeemable cashback.

Who is eligible

Because OnBuy has no dedicated forces scheme, the offers listed on this page are open to everyone in the forces community: serving Regulars, Reservists, veterans, cadet force adult volunteers, MOD civil servants, and forces spouses and partners. Nobody needs to prove military status to use them, which also means there's no ID check, no eligibility form and no waiting for verification before you save.

About OnBuy.com

OnBuy, founded in 2016 and based in Poole, is a UK online marketplace and eCommerce shopping platform.

It connects millions of customers with thousands of trusted independent sellers
across categories from electricals and refurbished tech to homeware and everyday essentials. Forces families use it for the same reason most UK shoppers do: a wide product range, competitive seller pricing, and its cashback-on-every-purchase model, which is a useful way to claw back money on a tight service budget even without a dedicated forces discount.

OnBuy.com military discount FAQs

Is there an OnBuy.com veterans discount?

No. Veterans are treated the same as any other OnBuy customer. There's no separate veterans code or ID-verified discount running on the platform at the time of writing, so the best route to savings is the cashback and free delivery offers listed on this page.

Can I use a Blue Light Card or Defence Discount Service at OnBuy.com?

We found no confirmed OnBuy listing through Blue Light Card or Defence Discount Service. Both schemes verify identity for genuine forces discounts at thousands of other retailers, but OnBuy isn't currently one of the brands offering a scheme-linked discount, so a Blue Light Card login won't unlock extra savings at checkout there.

Does OnBuy.com offer an NHS or student discount instead?

No. OnBuy applies the same policy across the board:
no student or military discount scheme exists
, and any savings come from seller promotions, cashback and free delivery rather than status-based codes.

Can I stack a discount code with OnBuy's cashback?

Because most of the savings on OnBuy come from seller pricing, free delivery and the platform's cashback system rather than a single sitewide code, there's usually nothing to "stack" against a military discount, since no such discount exists. Use the offers listed on this page as your starting point, then let cashback apply automatically on top.

Why doesn't OnBuy offer a forces discount when other retailers do?

OnBuy is a marketplace of independent sellers rather than a single retailer setting one pricing policy.
Any discounts available on OnBuy come down to individual sellers' own offers
rather than a company-wide scheme, which makes a single, verified forces discount harder to run consistently across every seller.

Will this page tell me if OnBuy launches a military discount?

Yes. This page is checked and updated regularly, so if OnBuy introduces a verified armed forces discount through Blue Light Card, Defence Discount Service or its own site, it will be reflected here along with the current live offers.
