Unistellar

Unistellar does not currently offer a dedicated UK military discount, forces discount or veterans discount on its smart telescopes. The brand's own help centre confirms there is no specific scheme for serving personnel, reservists or veterans.

That doesn't mean there's nothing to save. The latest Unistellar offers and deals are listed on this page and updated regularly, so you can still bring the price of an Evscope, Equinox or Odyssey telescope down even without a dedicated military scheme.

Does Unistellar offer a military discount?

No. Unistellar's own support pages are direct about this:
We do not offer specific military or veteran discounts.
There's no separate scheme run through Defence Discount Service or Blue Light Card either, and no mention of one on the brand's UK shop at shop.uk.unistellar.com.

If you are part of an educational institution and would like to request an offer, you can do so through the UNISTELLAR Education Program
, but this is aimed at schools and colleges rather than the forces community, and it's a separate arrangement from any armed forces discount.

For anyone searching "Unistellar military discount" hoping for a set percentage off tripods, backpacks or the telescopes themselves, the honest answer at the time of writing is that this doesn't exist. The smartest move is to use the live offers listed on this page instead, since Unistellar's genuine promotions come and go through its own site rather than through a forces-specific channel.

How to get the best price at Unistellar

1. Check the live Unistellar offers listed on this page first, since these reflect current sitewide promotions and seasonal price drops.
2. Compare the Odyssey, Odyssey Pro, Equinox 2 and Evscope 2 ranges before buying, as pricing and included accessories vary between models.
3. Sign up to the Unistellar newsletter on the UK shop if you're happy to receive emails, as promotional codes are sometimes sent this way.
4. Time a purchase around November, when Unistellar has previously run sitewide reductions ahead of Black Friday.
5. Remember that
refurbished telescopes are not eligible for promotional offers or discounts
, so factor this in if you're considering a refurbished unit to save money another way.
6. Check the free shipping and 30-day return terms on the UK shop before you commit, since these apply automatically and don't need a code.

Who is eligible

Because there's no dedicated Unistellar military discount, the offers listed on this page are open to everyone in the forces community: serving Regulars and Reservists, veterans, cadet force adult volunteers, MOD civil servants, and forces spouses and partners. Nobody is excluded, because there's no separate scheme to be excluded from.

Other ways to save at Unistellar

Start with the offers listed on this page, as these are checked and updated regularly rather than relying on expired codes doing the rounds elsewhere. Beyond that, Unistellar's UK shop at shop.uk.unistellar.com builds in a handful of genuine savings worth knowing about.

• Every telescope on the UK shop comes with
free shipping, a 30-day return window and a 2-year warranty
as standard, so there's no need to hunt for separate delivery promotions.
• Unistellar has previously run sitewide reductions around Black Friday, with
20% off across its entire range of smart telescopes and accessories for the whole month of November, ahead of Black Friday
in 2025. Whether this repeats at the same level each year isn't guaranteed, so check the offers on this page nearer the time.
• Signing up to the newsletter on the official UK site is a low-effort way to hear about any price changes or limited-time promotions as they're announced.
• If you're torn between models, the Odyssey range sits at a lower price point than the Expert range (Evscope 2 and Equinox 2), so starting there can keep costs down without giving up the core smart telescope features.

About Unistellar

Unistellar makes smart, connected telescopes designed to make astronomy accessible without years of practice or a dark-sky garden. Its Evscope, Equinox and Odyssey ranges use image-stacking and light-pollution filtering so users can see galaxies, nebulae and planets from ordinary back gardens, even in towns and cities. Forces families who move often, or who live in married quarters with no space for bulky kit, tend to be drawn to these telescopes because they're compact, app-controlled and don't need the setup skills a traditional scope demands.

Unistellar military discount FAQs

Is there a Unistellar military discount?

No. Unistellar's help centre confirms it doesn't run a specific military or veteran discount scheme. The best way to save is to use the offers listed on this page and watch for the brand's own seasonal promotions.

Is there a Unistellar veterans discount?

No separate veterans discount exists either. Unistellar's policy covers both serving personnel and veterans under the same answer: there's no dedicated scheme for either group at the time of writing.

Can I use a Blue Light Card or Defence Discount Service at Unistellar?

Not currently. Unistellar isn't listed as a partner brand with Defence Discount Service, and there's no Blue Light Card tie-in either. Any savings come from sitewide promotions rather than a verified forces scheme.

Can I combine a promo code with other Unistellar offers?

Generally no.
All available discounts are usually automatically applied to your shopping cart during checkout, and refurbished telescopes are not eligible for promotional offers or discounts.
Promotions typically don't stack, so check the cart total reflects the best price before paying.

Does Unistellar offer free delivery?

Yes, Unistellar's UK shop includes free shipping on its telescopes as standard, alongside a 30-day return window and a 2-year warranty, without needing a code or minimum spend.

When are Unistellar's biggest discounts?

Historically, the biggest sitewide reductions have landed around Black Friday, with 2025's promotion running through November ahead of the day itself. Percentages can change year to year, so check the offers on this page rather than relying on last year's figures.

Does Unistellar offer a discount for students or teachers?

Unistellar runs a separate education programme for institutions requesting offers, which is distinct from any forces discount and aimed at schools rather than individual serving personnel or veterans.

If you're weighing up a Unistellar smart telescope, browse the Unistellar offers listed on this page before you buy, since these are the genuine current ways to save.
