Sock Shop

Sock Shop offers a military discount, though you won't find a standalone code on sockshop.co.uk.
Blue Light Card members can access exclusive savings on everyday essentials like socks, underwear and hosiery through their account.
The retailer has also previously appeared as a supporting business with the Defence Discount Service.

The latest Sock Shop offers and deals are listed on this page and updated regularly, so you can save on socks, hosiery, tights and underwear whether or not you've signed up to a separate forces scheme. Start here before you hunt for anything else.

Does Sock Shop offer a military discount?

The Sock Shop military discount isn't run directly by the brand through its own website. Instead, it sits inside Blue Light Card, the membership scheme for the emergency services, NHS, social care and armed forces.
SockShop specialises in everyday essentials for men, women and children, covering socks, underwear, hosiery and loungewear, and Blue Light Card members can access exclusive SockShop savings that help reduce the ongoing cost of everyday essentials.

Sock Shop has also had a history with the official Ministry of Defence scheme. The Defence Discount Service previously advertised that members could
shop and save on socks, tights and accessories with 12% off orders over £25 with Sock Shop
. That listing is a few years old now, and we can't confirm it's still live at the time of writing, so always check the current terms on your Defence Discount Service or Blue Light Card account before you buy. There's no evidence of a separate in-store forces discount at Sock Shop's physical shops or concessions.

How to claim the Sock Shop military discount

1. Check the live Sock Shop offers listed on this page first. They're open to the whole forces community and need no sign-up or verification.
2. If you want the Blue Light Card saving too, join or log in to your Blue Light Card account and complete ID verification as serving, reserve, veteran or MOD personnel.
3. Search for SockShop in the offers section and open the SockShop offer page.
4. Follow the link provided to access the latest member saving, then once you are on the SockShop website, add your items to your basket.
5. Apply any discount code shown during checkout, or let it apply automatically, then complete your order as normal.

Who is eligible

Blue Light Card provides exclusive discounts to serving, reserve, veteran Armed Forces personnel and MOD civilians.
That covers Regulars, Reservists and veterans, and the scheme's own eligibility list separately names
HM Armed Forces Veterans
as a qualifying group alongside serving members. Cadet Forces adult volunteers may also qualify depending on how their role is categorised during verification. Spouses, partners and wider family members are generally not covered by Blue Light Card itself, which is more restrictive on family eligibility than some forces-only schemes, so the offers on this page remain the simplest route for the whole household.

Other ways to save at Sock Shop

The offers listed on this page are the quickest way to cut the cost of your Sock Shop order, with no verification needed. Beyond that, Sock Shop's own site has a few genuine ways to save:

• Free UK delivery is available over £40, or £3.49 if your order is under that
  .
• Unworn items can be refunded in full or exchanged within 90 days
, which makes it low risk to try a new size or style.
• A Click & Collect option is available, with delivery to a chosen collection point within two working days, free over £40
  .
• Sock Shop also runs its own seasonal sales directly on sockshop.co.uk, so it's worth checking the sale section alongside the offers on this page before you check out.

About Sock Shop

Sock Shop is a British-based specialist retailer of socks and hosiery, founded in 1983, that became part of the Ruia Group in 2006 and is now based mainly online, with stores in the Manchester Arndale and The Lowry Outlet, as well as concessions across the United Kingdom.
Forces families use it for the practical basics that get worn out fastest: work socks, hiking socks, tights and everyday underwear, often bought in multipacks to cover postings, deployments and busy family life.

Sock Shop military discount FAQs

Is there a Sock Shop veterans discount?

Yes. Veterans are named specifically within Blue Light Card's eligible groups, alongside serving personnel and MOD civilians. There's no separate standalone veterans code on sockshop.co.uk itself, so Blue Light Card verification is currently the route to use.

Can I use a Blue Light Card or Defence Discount Service at Sock Shop?

Blue Light Card is confirmed as a current route to Sock Shop savings. Defence Discount Service has listed Sock Shop in the past, with a 12% saving on orders over £25, though we can't confirm this is still active, so check your account for the current offer before relying on it.

Does Sock Shop have its own military discount code?

No. Sock Shop doesn't publish a dedicated forces or armed forces discount code on its own website. The saving is accessed through Blue Light Card membership instead, or through the offers already listed on this page.

Can MOD civil servants and reservists use the Sock Shop discount?

Yes, both groups are covered under Blue Light Card's eligibility, which includes serving, reserve and veteran Armed Forces personnel plus MOD civilians. You'll need to verify your status when you join or log in.

Can I stack the Sock Shop military discount with sale prices?

This isn't confirmed either way for Sock Shop specifically, so don't assume it. Discount codes often exclude items already reduced in a sale, so check the terms shown on your Blue Light Card offer page or at the Sock Shop checkout before you buy.

Is the Sock Shop discount available in-store?

We have no confirmation of an in-store forces discount at Sock Shop's physical shops or concessions. The Blue Light Card saving is set up for use on sockshop.co.uk, so treat it as an online-only benefit unless your local store confirms otherwise.

Do I need to be a current Blue Light Card member to get the saving?

Yes, the Sock Shop saving through Blue Light Card is only visible once you're logged into a verified account. If you'd rather not sign up, the live Sock Shop offers listed on this page are open to everyone in the forces community straightaway.

Browse the Sock Shop offers listed above before you check out, since they're open to serving personnel, veterans, reservists and forces families with no verification needed.
