Sweaty Betty UK

Sweaty Betty does offer a discount for the armed forces community, but it runs through Blue Light Card rather than a standalone Ministry of Defence scheme. Serving personnel, veterans and other eligible groups can access a code for full-price activewear once their status is verified. The exact saving is shown after login and can change, so check it before you buy.

Whether or not you hold a Blue Light Card, the latest Sweaty Betty UK offers and deals are listed on this page and updated regularly. That means you can save on leggings, sports bras and running kit even on the days your card verification is playing up or you simply can't be bothered logging in.

Does Sweaty Betty offer a military discount?

The confirmed route to a Sweaty Betty military discount in the UK is through Blue Light Card.
Eligible professions include NHS staff, teachers, emergency services, armed forces, police, social care workers, and retirees from these professions.

Blue Light Card members can access exclusive Sweaty Betty offers on the Blue Light Card website or app, and the latest discount code is shown once you're logged in.

The Sweaty Betty discount code is redeemable against full price items only.

Separately, Sweaty Betty runs its own NHS scheme directly through its website.
The brand confirms it offers an NHS discount, with an exclusive 25% off discount code sent to customers who fill in an online form.
That particular route is for NHS staff with an NHS email address rather than serving military personnel, so it's not a substitute for the Blue Light Card route if you're Forces rather than health service.

There's no evidence at the time of writing of a direct Sweaty Betty military discount advertised on its own site outside the NHS form, and no confirmed Defence Discount Service partnership. If that changes, this page will be updated. In the meantime, the offers listed below are open to everyone in the Forces community, discount code or not.

How to claim the Sweaty Betty military discount

1. Check the live Sweaty Betty offers listed on this page first. Some seasonal codes beat the Blue Light Card saving and need no ID check at all.
2. If you hold a Blue Light Card, log into your account and search for Sweaty Betty to bring up the current offer.
3. Click through from Blue Light Card to the Sweaty Betty website.
Your discount code will automatically be copied and emailed to you.
4. Add your activewear to the bag, then paste the code into the promo box at checkout.
5. Remember the code applies to full-price lines only, so it won't stack on top of sale or last-chance items.
6. Not signed up to Blue Light Card yet? You'll usually need proof of service, such as a payslip or ID card, to complete verification before a code is issued.

Who is eligible

The Blue Light Card scheme that unlocks Sweaty Betty's discount covers NHS staff, teachers, social care workers, emergency service workers, armed forces, police, and retirees from these professions.
That broadly covers serving Regulars and veterans. It's less clear whether cadet force adult volunteers, reservists on a part-time basis, or MOD civil servants automatically qualify, since eligibility sits with Blue Light Card's own criteria rather than anything Sweaty Betty controls directly. Spouses and partners are not typically covered under Blue Light Card in their own right unless they separately hold a card through their own employment. If you're unsure, the safest move is to check your eligibility directly with Blue Light Card before you shop, or simply use the offers on this page instead, which have no eligibility checks at all.

Other ways to save at Sweaty Betty

Start with the Sweaty Betty offers listed on this page, since they're open to the whole Forces community without any verification step. Beyond that, Sweaty Betty runs a regular last-chance sale section on past-season leggings, sports bras and tops, with reductions that can run well beyond standard full-price discounts at busy points in the year. New customers can usually get a percentage off their first full-price order by signing up to the Sweaty Betty newsletter. There's also a year-round multi-buy mechanic on selected leggings, tops and sports bras that trims the price per item when you buy more than one.

On delivery,
Sweaty Betty offers free UK next day delivery on orders over £150
, which matters if you're ordering ahead of a posting or a course and need kit to land on time.
Returns are free to over 150 countries, including the UK
, which helps if sizing is awkward or your address changes at short notice, something most forces families will recognise.

About Sweaty Betty

Sweaty Betty is a British retailer specialising in women's activewear, founded by Tamara and Simon Hill-Norton
in 1998.
It has over 50 shops in the United Kingdom
alongside concessions in major department stores and a full UK online store. The brand is known for leggings, sports bras, running and yoga kit, built for women balancing fitness with busy, unpredictable schedules, something plenty of serving personnel, reservists and military spouses will find familiar.

Sweaty Betty military discount FAQs

Is there a Sweaty Betty UK military discount?

Yes, but it's accessed through Blue Light Card rather than directly from Sweaty Betty. Eligible armed forces members can log in to Blue Light Card, search for Sweaty Betty and reveal the current code for full-price activewear.

Is there a Sweaty Betty veterans discount?

Blue Light Card's eligible audience for the Sweaty Betty discount includes retirees from armed forces and other listed professions
, so veterans are generally covered under the same scheme as serving personnel, subject to Blue Light Card's own verification rules.

Can I use a Blue Light Card or Defence Discount Service at Sweaty Betty?

Blue Light Card is the confirmed route, with Sweaty Betty listed as a partner on the Blue Light Card site. There's no confirmed Defence Discount Service partnership with Sweaty Betty at the time of writing, so don't rely on that scheme specifically for this brand.

Does Sweaty Betty offer an NHS discount too?

Yes, Sweaty Betty offers a 25% off NHS discount code direct from its own website, sent to anyone who fills in a form using a valid NHS email address.
That route is for NHS staff specifically, not for military personnel without an NHS email.

Can I stack the military discount with other codes or the sale?

No. The Sweaty Betty discount code through Blue Light Card is redeemable against full price items only
, so it won't apply on top of sale lines or alongside other promotional codes. Pick whichever saving is bigger for the item you want.

Do reservists and cadet force volunteers qualify?

This isn't explicitly confirmed. Blue Light Card eligibility is set by the scheme itself rather than by Sweaty Betty, so reservists and adult cadet volunteers should check their own status with Blue Light Card directly rather than assume automatic coverage.

What if I don't have a Blue Light Card?

You can still save. The offers listed on this page are open to the whole Forces community, no ID checks or logins required, and they're refreshed regularly as new Sweaty Betty promotions appear.
